About The Position

As a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA), you provide direct, hands-on care that supports residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs in a skilled nursing community. You help promote dignity, safety, and quality of life for residents.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times.

Nice To Haves

• Skilled nursing or senior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
