Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists licensed care staff in performing clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, taking vital signs and weights, and other care-related duties as assigned. As part of the care team, the CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur. The role is full-time at Vi at Bentley Village in Naples, Florida, with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every other weekend. The stated pay range is $18.07–$21.69 per hour. Employment requires compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Requirements
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Experience is required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
- Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
- Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
- Basic computer skills or ability to learn.
- Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with geriatric clients.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
