About The Position
Ridge Crest at Meadow Ridge, a 5-star Medicare-rated short- and long-term nursing center in Redding, Connecticut, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide care in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The center reports staffing ratios of seven residents per CNA and recognition from U.S. News & World Report and Wound Care Specialists. The hourly wage is $21–$22.25, depending on the date of certification. Shift differentials are $1.50 for second shift, $2.00 for third shift, and $2.00 for weekends. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions, with $500 payable after 60 days and $500 after 90 days. Openings include full-time and part-time schedules. Applicants must be certified as a CNA in the State of Connecticut.
Requirements
- Must be a Connecticut State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
