About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join its team at Lowell Correctional Institution in Ocala, Florida. Centurion provides medical healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The position pays $20 per hour and is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., three shifts per week, with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Current Florida CNA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in an acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
- Monitor vital signs.
