About The Position

Manahawkin Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide care to residents at its skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Manahawkin, New Jersey. CNAs work closely with nursing staff to assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support their comfort and well-being. The position is available full-time or PRN, with openings across the 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts. A $5,000 bonus is offered for full-time positions.

Requirements

Active New Jersey CNA certification.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs.
Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators.
Observe residents’ physical and emotional condition and report concerns to supervisors.
Support residents’ nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens.
Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring comfort.
Accurately document care provided in medical records and charts.
Communicate effectively with residents, facility staff, and other team members.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs.
