About The Position

Provides basic nursing care to residents under direct supervision. The role is full-time, with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; every other weekend is required. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered based on experience.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Current California CNA license.
• CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection-control standards.
• Conduct job duties in accordance with established hospital policies and safety and sanitation standards.
• Obtain and document resident vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, oxygen saturation (SAO2), respiration, pulse, pain, weight, and intake and output.
• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, oral care, shaving, dressing, eating, bedpan assistance, and transportation.
• Maintain resident documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and unit care data.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to resident comfort and privacy.
• Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings as requested.
• Attend continuing education courses related to the area of specialization to remain current in the field.
