About The Position
Allcare Home Health Agency is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality, personalized in-home care to clients. Care may be provided in clients’ homes and community environments, as well as long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. The role involves one-on-one support and following individualized care plans and agency policies. The agency is locally owned and operated. The position is based in Durham, North Carolina. Available schedules include Monday through Friday, weekends, and every other weekend. Available shifts are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and 1:00 PM–8:30 PM. The agency is hiring urgently and indicates that candidates can start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Current North Carolina CNA certification.
- Current TB test.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current auto insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
- Check vital signs.
