About The Position

Southfield Village, part of faith-based nonprofit Greencroft Communities, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to older adults. The role focuses on helping residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported, while promoting dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life. The CNA works alongside nurses, caregivers, and other team members to coordinate care and build positive relationships with residents. This is a full-time evening position at Southfield Village in South Bend, Indiana, with hours from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Base pay is $19.46–$21.74 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour evening shift differential and $2.00 per hour weekend differential. Requirements

Current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Genuine interest in working with older adults.
Dependable, caring, and team-oriented approach.

Previous senior care experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities.
Provide attentive care that promotes residents’ dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
Help residents prepare for and transition through their evening routines.
Observe residents and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
Work with nurses and fellow caregivers to coordinate resident care.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Build positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate service.
