About The Position

This position entails working collaboratively with nursing staff, residents, families, and other departmental teams to deliver optimal individualized care for residents. Employees may be required to float to different units as necessary, and shifts encompass weekends and holidays. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role.

Requirements

• General Certifications (ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT)
• MUST HAVE A CALIFORNIA CNA LICENSE

Responsibilities

• Receiving and giving reports on residents’ conditions, ensuring clear understanding of the required care.
• Conducting rounds on residents, assessing all new admissions and residents who exhibit illness, have fallen, or sustained injuries.
• Documenting assessments as per facility policy.
• Notifying nurses of any changes in residents’ conditions or needs.
• Providing direct patient care and ensuring that call lights are answered promptly.
• Fostering strong working relationships with other departments, co-workers, residents, families, and physicians.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
