About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides quality care to patients and assists them with daily activities. This is a full-time night-shift position scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Hold current state Nursing Assistant certification, or be currently attending a CNA class working toward certification; non-certified work may not exceed four months.
• Have current, active CPR certification.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Help patients with mobility and transfer them to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
• Serve meals and assist patients with eating.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Document patient care and report concerns to the nursing staff.
