About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect care to hospice patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role includes basic patient care, obtaining vital signs, recording fluid intake and output, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition, and documenting care on written flow sheets and in a computer system. The CNA is expected to maintain a positive attitude and demeanor, communicate effectively, and contribute as an effective team member.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current, active Florida CNA certification.
• Good computer skills.
• Customer-service orientation and ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with team members at all organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to help provide exceptional care for patients and their families.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience preferred.
