About The Position

Maple Dell Health and Rehabilitation is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide high-level care to residents and support their wellness, comfort, and safety while they reside in the facility. The role includes training and orientation to long-term care and working as part of a team in a positive care environment. Requirements

Hold an active Utah CNA certificate; the qualifications also state that the CNA must be in good standing with the state and have no disciplinary action in effect against the certification.
Possess clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrate the ability to engage and relate positively to residents and their families.
Work well in a team environment.
Be energetic, positive, professional, and reliable.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have current CPR/BLS certification.
Have a current Food Handler Permit when applicable.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or assisted living facility (ALF); experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
Answer residents’ call lights to determine their needs.
Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, and exercising.
Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to help ensure residents receive an appropriate diet.
Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
