About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Avamere Olympic Rehab in Sequim, WA. This role is available for Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem positions, with evening shifts from 2-10 PM. The CNA will be responsible for ensuring residents' personal care needs are met, monitoring their care plans, communicating any changes in condition to the nursing staff, and assisting residents with daily activities and appointments. The position also involves participating in facility surveys and maintaining resident confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Have a 10th grade education or above
  • Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Must have an active CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
  • Review patient care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident’s daily care routine have been made on the care plan, and communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.
  • Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident’s condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident’s care plan.
  • Assist resident’s with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
