Requirements
- Current CPR certification or upon hire.
- Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
- Must have a current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida
- Must pass a level ll background
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is great but not required.
- One year of C N A experience preferred
- Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide quality-nursing care to our residents
- Assist residents with hygiene needs
- Feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
- Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
- Observe and record resident’s reactions to medications and treatment
- Participate in the organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities
- Ability to follow a plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN
- Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN
- Proper documentation of daily ADL's
- Exhibits empathy, dignity, respect and concern for resident's well-being
- Do a wide variety of services such as shower assists, shopping, medication reminders, and light housekeeping such as laundry.
- Work in one place without having to drive from client to client.
