Requirements

  • Current CPR certification or upon hire.
  • Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
  • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
  • Must have a current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida
  • Must pass a level ll background

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience is great but not required.
  • One year of C N A experience preferred
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality-nursing care to our residents
  • Assist residents with hygiene needs
  • Feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
  • Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
  • Observe and record resident’s reactions to medications and treatment
  • Participate in the organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities
  • Ability to follow a plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN
  • Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN
  • Proper documentation of daily ADL's
  • Exhibits empathy, dignity, respect and concern for resident's well-being
  • Do a wide variety of services such as shower assists, shopping, medication reminders, and light housekeeping such as laundry.
  • Work in one place without having to drive from client to client.
  • Work in a beautiful senior living community.
