About The Position

The Williamsport Home is seeking full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants to provide quality, person-centered care to residents and support their daily lives. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, supporting emotional well-being and independence, and working with nurses and other healthcare professionals. The position is based at The Williamsport Home in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Shifts are 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. Schedules require every other weekend; Weekend Warrior schedules require every weekend and offer a higher pay rate. Long-term care experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification, or meet state and federal requirements under “grandmothering” regulations, or attend an approved nurse aide training program to obtain eligibility for the Nurse Aide Competency Examination within 120 days of employment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• CPR certification or willingness to become CPR certified.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, resident-focused approach.
• Reliable attendance and a teamwork mindset.

• Experience in long-term care.
