About The Position
Vermillion Convalescent Center is seeking compassionate Nurse Aide Students to join their team and provide exceptional care to residents. This state-approved program offers Nurse Aide Students the knowledge and skills necessary to become a certified nursing assistant through hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. The program covers patient care aspects such as assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. Successful completion may lead to permanent employment.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate, written and oral
- Must be patient, have tact in dealing with others
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living

- Receive hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience
