About The Position
The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking compassionate Nurse Aide Students to join their team. The facility's primary goal is to provide exceptional care to its residents. This state-approved program offers Nurse Aide Students the necessary knowledge and skills to become certified nursing assistants. The program includes hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience supervised by experienced healthcare professionals. It covers all aspects of patient care, such as assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and offering emotional support to patients and their families. Permanent employment may be offered upon successful completion of the CNA class.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate, written and oral
- Must be patient, have tact in dealing with others
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living
