About The Position

Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation is offering a training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This program provides the opportunity to learn and grow in an acute care facility and make a difference in the lives of residents. The training covers different areas of care and how to best serve the community. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for full-time or part-time positions within the facility. The facility also offers opportunities for free QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) classes monthly for those interested in long-term care. Every employee at Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center is valued for their unique skills and contributions towards helping residents reach and maintain their highest functional abilities.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old or older.
  • Pass English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
  • Must pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an acute care facility.
  • Interest in long-term care.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in classroom instruction and clinical experience as part of the CNA training program.
  • Gain clinical patient experience.
  • Complete a 105-hour state-approved training program.
  • Work towards placement in full-time or part-time positions after successful completion of the program.
