About The Position

Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. This is a Part Time position with 20 weekly hours and a Day Shift. The position is primarily field-based, requiring care to be provided in patient homes throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between patient visits. A personal vehicle and active Driver's License are required. The role involves performing basic and routine patient care, including personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checking vital signs, monitoring intake/output, assisting with ambulation, and helping patients transfer between bed, toilet, and other areas within the PACE center or their home.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
• CNA active in Virginia (required)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Must have personal vehicle and active Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
