About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA performs activities within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. This is a PRN day position at Victoria North LTACH.
Requirements
- CNA certification where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Provide accommodative services.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
