About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an exciting Local job in Casa Real, NM. This is a local contract position for 17 weeks, working the day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 36 hours per week, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts (Thu–Sat rotation)
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to assist with ADLs and patient mobility
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
- Provide safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
- Support nursing staff with direct patient care tasks
- Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with nursing and healthcare team members
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient care environment
