About The Position
Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center - Northwest Houston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The facility emphasizes creating a sense of community and providing exceptional care and service. This role involves performing various direct patient care assignments related to daily living activities under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The position is for a night shift, 12 hours, from 6p-6a. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a nursing home environment, but newly licensed CNA graduates are also welcomed. A current CNA license in Texas (or multi-state compact) is required, along with a customer service attitude, good communication skills, and a passion for learning. The facility is a modern, state-of-the-art care center serving Jersey Village and surrounding areas, featuring 125 beds with private and semi-private rooms.
Requirements
- Current CNA license in Texas (or multi-state compact)
- At least one year experience in a nursing home environment (newly licensed CNA graduates are welcomed)
- Have a "Customer Service" attitude
- Be able to communicate well with family members, co-workers, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacies and Hospitals
- Have a PASSION for learning.
Responsibilities
- Performs various direct patient care assignments pertaining to daily living activities to assist in the care of patients.
- Ensures duties are performed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
