About The Position
Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center - Northwest Houston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The center focuses on creating a sense of community and providing exceptional care and service to its patients. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive work environment and uphold the company's Core Values. This role involves performing various direct patient care assignments pertaining to daily living activities under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Current CNA license in Texas (or multi-state compact)
- At least one year of experience in a nursing home environment (newly licensed CNA graduates are welcomed)
- Must have a "Customer Service" attitude
- Ability to communicate well with family members, co-workers, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacies and Hospitals
- Must have a PASSION for learning
Responsibilities
- Performs various direct patient care assignments pertaining to daily living activities to assist in the care of patients.
- Ensures duties are performed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
