About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) to join our Residential Group Home team on Bennett House in Wilmington, Delaware, 19806.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Delaware.
Ability to respond to disruptive behavior.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living.
Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting.
Ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development.
Facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration.
Participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans.
