About The Position
Valley Senior Living offers individuals the opportunity to apply for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position. The CNA class is a training program designed to prepare individuals for a career in healthcare. It covers essential topics such as resident care, medical terminology, and basic nursing skills. Students learn through a combination of classroom instruction and supervised hands-on clinical practice under the guidance of experienced instructors. Successful completion of the course qualifies the employee to take the state certification exam required to become a licensed CNA.
Requirements
- Must be available for the September 7 - October 2 class.
- Must be available for class time Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
- Must be available for clinical days from 5:45 am – 2:15 pm.
Responsibilities
- Attend CNA class Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
- Participate in supervised hands-on clinical practice.
- Learn resident care, medical terminology, and basic nursing skills.
- Successfully complete the course to be qualified to take the state certification exam.
Benefits
- $3,000 Full-Time Sign-On Bonus
- $500 Part-Time Bonus
- Pay during class: $17.55/hr + $500 paid upon certification
- Pay upon completion of class: $20.30/hr
- Pay upon CNA certification: $23.00/hr
