Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA
About The Position
Griswold Home Care of Raleigh is looking to hire a capable full-time Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties. The role involves assisting seniors with daily tasks to help them live as independently as possible, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Care may also involve assisting clients with cognitive impairments or dementia with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing, always maintaining their dignity. The CNA will keep a log of duties performed and submit accurate documentation, providing timely updates to the office regarding client needs. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a 12-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team
