About The Position

This is a Per Diem CNA opportunity at Morningstar Living's Moravian Hall Square campus in Nazareth, PA. It offers flexibility to create your own schedule and the chance to earn more by picking up additional hours through a unique Tiered Per Diem Pay Program. The role involves providing direct resident care, maintaining simple records, communicating with supervisors, and ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met. Requirements

• Continuing possession of certificate issued by the State Department of Health Nurse Aide Certification Program.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have the ability to develop and maintain patience and tact with residents.
• Work a minimum one full weekend each month
• Work one Spring/Summer holiday and one Fall/Winter holiday each year
• Maintain reliable availability and fulfill scheduled shifts

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties and responsibilities relevant to routine bedside nursing care for example: bathing, feeding, dressing, undressing residents, personal hygiene, ambulation, TPR's, BP's, etc.
• Maintain simple records as related directly to the resident care plan.
• Communicate all unusual or serious conditions or incidents or any significant changes to the nurse supervisor.
• Provide nutritional needs to the residents such as feeding, providing fresh drinking water, reporting eating habits of residents to nurse supervisor, as well as recording food and fluid intake as directed.
• Practice effective customer service relations with staff, residents, volunteers, and visitors.

Benefits

• $22.00/hour base pay
• +$5.00/hour for every hour worked beyond 16 hours in the Sunday-Saturday workweek (up to $27.00/hour)
