About The Position
CNS Cares is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for private duty home care. As a direct care professional, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care and build close relationships with clients, empowering them to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. We provide unparalleled home health care to various populations, including Armed Services Veterans and former energy workers. Our approach prioritizes care in all that we do, offering a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA in the state(s) of practice
- Current hands-on CPR certification
- TB test
- Valid Driver's License
- STNA license to practice in Ohio
- CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of in-home health care experience
- Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
- Willing to travel up to 60 miles
- Willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes.
- Build close relationships with patients.
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
- Work in the privacy of the patient’s home allowing more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care.
- Support patients to remain as independent and comfortable as possible at home.
