About The Position

Suncrest Hospice is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join its growing team and provide exceptional hospice care and service to patients and their families. The role provides care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans, under the direction of the Director of CNA Services or designee. CNAs work with licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate care and follow company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The position involves close one-to-one work with patients, collaboration with a patient care team, and day-to-day independent work. Full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts are available.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate daily with care team members.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

• Eagerness to pursue higher-level opportunities such as certifications and further education.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans and as directed by nursing management.
• Coordinate appropriate types of care with other licensed care staff.
• Follow company nursing policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership.
