About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Durham and Chapel Hill is seeking a compassionate and dependable full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caregiving team. In this role, you’ll provide meaningful companionship and hands-on support to seniors while helping them remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes. We are looking for CNA candidates who are available to work day shifts only. Requirements

Reliable transportation
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
1+ years of CNA or home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts!

Responsibilities

Provide meaningful companionship and hands-on support to seniors.
Help seniors remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Prepare meals.
Grocery shopping.
Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients.
Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
Submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care.
Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
