About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Myrtle Beach, SC is looking to hire capable Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties. Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • 2-Step TB Test or BAMT (QuantiFERON-TB Gold Blood Test)
  • Valid Driver's license, Passport, or Formal ID Card
  • CNA Certification
  • CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 2+ years of CNA or home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Passion for providing elderly care.
  • Respectful and kind.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties.
  • Assist with daily tasks to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Prepare meals.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
  • Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
  • Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
  • Submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care.
  • Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
