About The Position
Concordia at Bethlen, a faith-based, non-profit continuing care retirement community in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, is hiring experienced and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its skilled nursing team. Full-time, part-time, and casual/PRN opportunities are available. Full-time shifts include 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and a daylight weekend position from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. PRN/casual applicants are encouraged to apply. The position assists residents with daily living activities and personal care, provides treatments according to the ADL/treatment book, documents care, and responds promptly to resident call bells and needs. A $10,000 sign-on bonus, paid in monthly installments, is available to the next five full-time hires through October 31, 2026; details are discussed during the interview. Pay is based on experience, and certified experience can qualify employees to accrue vacation at a higher rate. On-demand pay is also available.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a Nurse Aide training program.
- Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide license in good standing.
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is sought.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, and bladder and bowel management.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning, and positioning.
- Document care provided.
- Provide treatment according to the ADL/treatment book.
- Answer resident call bells and respond promptly to resident needs.
