The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff. This role involves assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as mobility and transfers using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques. The CNA is responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff, assisting with meal service and feeding, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Participation in resident activities and accurate documentation of care are also key aspects of the position.
