About The Position
This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Memory Care, working overnight shifts. The position involves providing warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship to residents. It also includes assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), observing changes in residents' condition and care needs, and collaborating with the Nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan. Encouraging resident participation in community programs and activities is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and love for working with people.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A current state-required certification as a CNA/HHA/CHHA.
Nice To Haves
- Medication Aide Certified is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe and report changes in residents' day and personal care needs to the Nurse.
- Work with the Nurse to update residents' personal Resident Care Plans.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
