About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA performs duties within the limits of the position and does not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are carried out in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines, and include other related duties as assigned or requested. The role is with PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch, a new rehabilitation hospital described as opening in the fall. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services through more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
