About The Position

Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team! We offer a competitive wage range of $22.50 - $28.35 per hour, with shift differentials for evening and NOC shifts. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. We provide a stable work environment with regular schedules, saving you time and money on commuting, and you'll work at the same site every day. We are not an agency and offer consistent scheduling. Placement within the wage range is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon Health Care.
Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education.
Recent education or clinical hours are required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass criminal background screen and reference inquiry.
Depending on site specific Federal, State and County requirements, future Avalon employees may be asked to participate in COVID-19 testing procedures as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents’ comfort while assisting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning.
Assist residents with their activities of daily living.
Provide hygiene and oral care pursuant to plan of care.
Assist residents with dressing and grooming according to their needs.
Bathe residents with attention to privacy, respecting dignity and providing a safe environment.
Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
Maintain residents’ rooms in neat, orderly and clutter-free manner.
