About The Position
Village Caregiving is hiring responsible, dedicated in-home caregivers to support veterans and older adults with activities of daily living in and around the Hickory area. The work includes helping clients in their homes with grooming, light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation. The company emphasizes compassionate, comforting care and the safety and well-being of both clients and caregivers. No prior experience is required; paid caregiver training and CPR certification are provided. Schedules are flexible, and the workplace is described as having a family-like atmosphere.
Requirements
- No experience is required.
- Must provide in-home support to elderly clients with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living to seniors in their homes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and office support staff.
- Report emergencies appropriately.
- Provide compassionate and comforting care to older adults.
- Accurately report work time and client updates.
- Keep work organized and timely.
- Complete caregiver care sheets.
- Assist with grooming, light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation.
