About The Position
Eastgate Manor Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to help foster a warm, supportive, and homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, provides companionship and reassurance, and supports care that respects each resident’s dignity and individual needs. The role involves working with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate and provide comprehensive care. Day and evening shifts are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide residents with companionship and reassurance.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
