About The Position
Coastal Homecare is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship in clients’ homes, hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers in the Ocean City, Ocean Pines, and surrounding areas. Care plans are tailored to each client’s needs, including support during transitions home from the hospital or companionship for a few hours a day. Full-time and part-time live-in positions are available.
Requirements
- Current CNA or HHA certification, or completion of a Delaware CNA program.
- Open availability, including weekends.
- Physical exam and 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting.
- Ability to lift, position, and transfer clients and operate a Hoyer lift.
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to each client’s Plan of Care.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Operate a Hoyer lift.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Protect client privacy and confidential information.
