About The Position
Monticello Healthcare is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a passion for compassionate care, requiring no prior experience. The program provides free classroom and hands-on training, enabling participants to become CNAs in a few weeks. Upon successful completion and testing, graduates will have opportunities at any of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further career advancement pathways in nursing available.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
- Ability to work with and be supported by instructors, nurses, and CNAs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and feeding assistance.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds, wheelchairs, and toilets.
- Obtaining and recording resident vital signs and observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Providing companionship and meaningful relationships with residents.
