About The Position

Crestwood is offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program for individuals passionate about helping others in behavioral health. This program aims to train individuals to become CNAs who can assist Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in providing patient care. The program focuses on a personal and self-directed process to empower clients and help them thrive. Crestwood has been committed to creating innovative recovery programs and developing compassionate communities for over 50 years.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Able to pass criminal background check
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Health Examination (provided)
  • Immunizations: Negative TB skin test, or required documentation for positive results (<12 months)
  • Must work on the floor in a Full-Time / On-Call position (pending availability) CNA position for 1-year following the completion of CNA program.
  • Submit applications in person to Crestwood Manor

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in patient care.
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene (bathing and grooming), dressing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation/repositioning.
  • Performing routine tasks such as cleaning/bed making, preparing rooms for admissions, recording food and liquid intake/output, taking vital signs, and gathering/stocking supplies.
