Paid Student Nursing Assistant Program - Class Starting October 2026
About The Position
Compass Health, the largest provider of skilled nursing care in SLO county, is offering a paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program starting October 2026 at Bayside Care Center in Morro Bay. This program is approximately 8-10 weeks long, with classes in session 5 days a week, including weekends. CNAs are the primary caregivers for residents, and this training will equip students with the necessary skills to pass the CNA exam and assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and dressing. The program is ideal for caring, hard-working individuals committed to enhancing the lives of residents and providing excellent customer service. Upon successful completion of the certification exam, students will be offered employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Requirements

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting
- Employment offers are contingent upon passing a background screening, reference check, Physical & TB clearance.

Responsibilities
