CNA Training Program
About The Position
Crestwood is seeking individuals with a passion for helping others to join their CNA Training Program. This program offers a path to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, a healthcare professional who assists Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) with patient care. The program focuses on a personal and self-directed process that empowers clients in their recovery journey. CNAs assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation/repositioning. They also perform routine tasks like cleaning, making beds, preparing rooms, recording intake/output, taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and stocking supplies. Crestwood has been providing innovative recovery programs and compassionate communities for over 50 years.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Able to pass criminal background check.
- Letter of Recommendation.
- Health Examination (provided).
- Immunizations: Negative TB skin test, or required documentation for positive results (<12 months).
Responsibilities
- Assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in patient care.
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal hygiene (bathing and grooming), Dressing, Feeding, Toileting, Ambulation/Repositioning.
- Performing routine tasks such as cleaning/bed making, preparing rooms for admissions.
- Recording food and liquid intake/output.
- Taking vital signs.
- Collecting specimens.
- Gathering/stocking supplies.
