Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Independent Contractor
About The Position
Caregiver Services Inc. (CSI), a Help at Home company, is registering Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support to seniors and adults in the North Miami Beach FL 33160 area. This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor opportunity. CNAs may accept client assignments that align with their availability, preferred service area, and experience. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and is not employment with Caregiver Services Inc. Independent contractors are self-employed and responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and other business-related obligations.
Requirements
- Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
- Valid government-issued identification
- Completion of all applicable state and organizational training requirements
- Successful completion of the required Florida background screening process, including applicable AHCA Clearinghouse requirements
- Ability to perform the essential responsibilities of accepted client assignments
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
- Preparing meals and providing mealtime assistance
- Supporting safe mobility and transfers
- Providing companionship and assistance with daily activities
- Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and basic organization
- Providing transportation or completing errands when applicable
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition in accordance with applicable requirements
