About The Position

Join the team as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an assisted living community serving seniors. The role involves helping residents with daily routines, mobility, meals, medication self-administration, and bedtime and morning routines while supporting their comfort, safety, and dignity. Requirements

Hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the State of Arkansas.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 20 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet, and push, pull, move, and/or carry that weight at least 10 feet.
Be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, meals, and other daily routines.
Assist seniors with the self-administration of medications and help them move safely throughout the community.
Communicate kindly and professionally with residents, their families, and outside agencies.
Provide support with bedtime and morning routines to promote residents’ comfort and dignity.
Assist residents to and from meals and help with mealtime tasks as needed.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Remain attentive to safety, report concerns, and respond promptly in emergencies.
