About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and qualified Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults in Matthews, NC, and surrounding areas. The organization is clinically led and has served the medically fragile community since 2000. Caregivers provide compassionate care, build meaningful relationships with patients and families, and support patient outcomes in a family-oriented, mission-driven organization. This role assists patients with activities of daily living, mobility, comfort, and safety while following care plans and caregiver instructions. Caregivers document care and communicate patient concerns and observations to clinical staff. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling based on availability and potentially day, evening, and weekend assignments. Consistent one-on-one assignments, ongoing training, and 24/7 clinical support are offered. Pay is $15–$18 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Active North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or proof of completion of an approved 75-hour Home Health Aide training program in accordance with North Carolina regulations.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current TB test or screening as required.
- Valid government-issued identification.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Ability to document care accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required for patient care.
- Ability to assist with transfers and mobility activities.
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a home care environment.

Responsibilities
