About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults in Asheville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on compassionate, relationship-based care that supports patients’ comfort, safety, well-being, and outcomes. Caregivers follow care plans and caregiver instructions, document care, and communicate patient concerns and observations to clinical staff. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling based on availability and potential day, evening, and weekend opportunities. Pay is $15–$18 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Active North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current TB test or screening as required.
- Valid government-issued identification.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Ability to document care accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required for patient care.
- Ability to assist with transfers and mobility activities.
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a home care environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility activities.
- Support patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Follow care plans and caregiver instructions.
- Document care as required.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
- Communicate patient concerns and observations to clinical staff.
