Certified Nursing Assistant 3, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Full-Time
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with patient care throughout nursing areas. Provides observer services for patients on a patient care unit who have been assessed as requiring constant observation to maximize their safety. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. Implements the patient care plan established by the RN to meet patients’ needs and alerts appropriate RN team members when emergencies arise or changes in patient status are noted. This full-time position is in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at the University of Miami UHealth Hospital and Clinics - UTower. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts, with days, evenings, nights, and weekends depending on availability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
