About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with patient care throughout nursing areas. The role provides observer services for patients on a patient care unit who have been assessed as requiring constant observation to maximize their safety. It also performs general receptionist and clerical duties to support efficient nursing-unit operations, implements the patient care plan established by the RN to meet patient needs, and alerts appropriate RN team members when emergencies arise or changes in patient status are noted.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
