About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join their team. This role involves providing hands-on, compassionate care to seniors living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia in a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 57 residents. The community is designed to feel like home for both residents and staff, offering an intimate environment where team members know each resident. As an age-in-place community, CNAs will care for residents across the full spectrum of dementia-related diseases.

Requirements

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
